The start of 2025 hasn't been exactly as I planned, with both Luke and I getting sick and my health taking a drastic turn back into what it used to be (IYKYK). Maybe I'll make a post about that soon but I thought to get back into writing better, I could do some Q & A style posts. I've done a few before, but they always seem to do well and are so much fun! I just stumbled across another blogger Melanie Fraiser and I've taken some of their questions for this blog from "here" as well as adding some of my own, so please enjoy!

Random Facts About Me - Blogger Q & A
When was the last time you cried? Last night.
If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? I would hope so, I think I'm loyal. Sometimes I'm not great at making plans because of my health but I think I'm a decent person.
Do you use sarcasm a lot? I used to as a teenager use it all the time, it became part of my personality but now I only use it when necessary. I don't think sarcasm is something that should be overused.
What's the first thing you notice about people? Usually whether they smile back at me or not, their aura, and for a more superficial answer, what they're wearing.
Do you prefer scary movies or happy endings? I prefer psychological thrillers to scary movies so I'm gonna have to say happy endings.
What are your favourite smells/scents? Weirdly, I do like the smell of potpourri, flowers, and for a perfume the two I use at the moment are Coach and Black Opium.
What is the furthest you've been away from home? South Australia I think?
Do you have any special talents? When I was at uni, I could remember other people's timetables and would know what classes they had. I could also do this at my corporate job if someone forgot they had a meeting I would somehow have just remembered it.
Where were you born? Christchurch, New Zealand.
What are your hobbies? Photography, walking/hiking, spending time in nature, bird watching, cooking/baking, going out to eat, going to markets, reading, writing.
What did you want to be when you grew up? A lot of different things, an author, a detective, a PI, an SFX make up artist, a forensic scientist, actor.
How many countries have you been to? Just Australia and NZ.
What was your favourite subject at school? At high school, English. At university, sociology.
What was your worst subject at school? At high school, chemistry. At university, linguistics.
What is your favourite drink? Alcoholic - a Moscow Mule or a Cosmo and non-alcoholic, I like a lot of soft drinks but I might have to say a mango smoothie here.
Who are some of your favourite YouTubers? HannahTheHorrible, KallMeKris, LoeyLane, Swell Entertainment, and The Why Files. Maybe Mr Ballen too.
What is your favourite memory from childhood? All my childhood pets and maybe all the times I fell asleep in a random place but would be transported into the living room by a parent.
How would you describe your fashion sense? I usually go for comfort at the moment, often people would describe my dress sense as like an old grandma LOL. Comfy and casual. I would like to dress nicer, more formal but I get uncomfortable with stomach cramping and things due to my IBS.
Tell us one of your bad habits! Scrolling my phone before I go to sleep.
Which celebrity would you choose as your best friend? Amelia Dimoldenberg (from Chicken Shop Date).
What emoji do you use the most? A smiley or a doggo one.
Text or phone call? Text, I hate phone calls.
What's your biggest regret in life? Turning down a modelling contract when I was 16, not starting my blog/content creation earlier, and spending too much time with toxic people.
What's your favourite family tradition? One of my cousins and I would always have a glass of Bailey's together on Christmas morning. I don't really know where it started - and I don't know if we snuck off or what to drink it. But I know we would always drink it together. I wish we were closer and I could talk to her more but she's not much of a texter. I feel sad that it took me moving countries for us to get close again. And the other one was always drinking either grape juice or apple juice to feel like one of the adults when they were drinking at Christmas or Easter or something.
Who is your celebrity crush? Andy Samberg.
