Hi friends! Welcome to this blog post ALL about my favourite beauty care products. Now, I'm not amazing at makeup or beauty really, I feel like I have a bit of a rustic can't be bothered vibe a lot of the time but that doesn't mean I don't try - so maybe this can be the lazy girl's guide to beauty!

My Favourite Beauty Care Products
I have been using this exfoliator and it lasts ages, so you'll be sweet with a small travel bottle like me - Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Salicylic Acid Exfoliant, Gentle Facial Exfoliator for Blackheads, Large Pores, Wrinkles & Fine Lines, Travel Size, 30 mL Bottle $18 AUD. I really like the fact that you don't need to wash it off, it doesn't annoy my skin in any way and it's really brightening my face up in time for spring! Woo.
Something that I've always struggled with is blow-waving and straightening my hair because it takes sooo long with the curls, but this hot air blow wave brush has honestly changed my life (and it's cheap too) - AU Plug Hot Air Brush,One Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer Hair Dryer & Volumizing Styler Comb 3-in-1 Negative Ion Straightening Brush Salon Hair Straightener Brush Curler for All Hair Types (Rose Black) $39.99 AUD.
I've been getting back into painting my nails lately and I've gone kinda the "emo" route with black nail polish but I really like any OPI nail polish and this is the one I've been using lately - OPI Nail Lacquer, Up to 7 Days of Wear, Chip Resistant and Fast Drying Nail Polish, 15ml $17.09AUD - and black goes with everything!
What's not to love about an under eye mask? These ones come in bulk and they feel a bit funny at first, but they definitely help with under the eye bags/dark circles - BREENHILL 36 Pairs (72Pcs) Gold Under Eye Patches,2Pcs Mask Paper Collagen Gel Eye Mask Under Eye Pads for Moisturizing Beauty & Personal Care $13.50AUD.
I've recently switched my shampoos to Olaplex and I got a little travel bond repair kit to see if I liked it and so far, I do. It's definitely been helping to keep my hair shiny and my dandruff has significantly improved. The travel kit isn't available on Amazon any more but if I were to recommend one product out of it, it would be the Olaplex No.7 Hair Perfector Bonding Oil, 30ml $53.99 AUD - all you do is put a little on after washing on towel dried hair and then a little more once you've styled your hair and you're good to go!
Since we no longer have a bath, I've been feeling sad that I can't really use bath bombs and Epsom salts any more BUT one thing I LOVE to have in the shower is a coffee body scrub, the smell just wakes me up in the morning and helps me feel good about how I smell - check out this one - C Lab & Co Coffee Scrub Bag, 100 grams $9.95 AUD.
If you do happen to have a bath, I highly recommend these Epsom Salts for feeling so floaty and relaxed after a hot bath - Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Soaking Solution with Lavender, Small, 450 g $8.99 AUD.
It's not often I do wear a full face of makeup, but some things I have been LOVING lately are bronzing drops, mascara, and eyeliner. Bronzing drops can be mixed with your everyday moisturiser and you can get some really good well-priced ones (and because you don't use a lot of product, they last ages) - my go to one is - NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator - Pure Gold $14.39 AUD. For an affordable mascara, I am loving the Maybelline New York Sky High Mascara $12.99 AUD - Luke (my partner) got me one of these for a Christmas present last year and it works really well for me! For an eyeliner pencil, I recommend using the - L’Oréal Paris Paradise Le Khol Eyeliner Pencil 101 Midnight Black $14.94 - and then you're "no make up, make up look" is good to go!
Thanks for reading! Let me know if you purchased any of these and what you thought!
Much love,
Ash xoxo
