Hi friends! I haven't done a foodie review in a while, so here's somewhere that Luke and I went out for dinner a while ago! Please enjoy this review - it's a bit of a basic one! :)

Today's Review: Pizzicotto Pizzeria e Cucina
Location: 68/70 Woodland St, Strathmore VIC 3041
Hours of Operation: Tuesday - Sunday 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The vibe of this restaurant is really cutesy, chic, and a bit mysterious. The staff are really nice and make sure you get what you want but I did find that it was a really small space with tables way too close together so you could hear other people's conversations and I felt a bit claustrophobic and in the way. But once you get past that, the food is really delish. The funniest thing happened where people sat next to us and the lady ordered a "Pear and Walnut Salad" without the walnuts which I just thought was funny - why not order something else if you're allergic to walnuts? Isn't it just then a pear salad? HAHA #melbourneeats
Drinks
To start, I ordered a Pizzi-Pash cocktail which was $20 and sooo refreshing. It had Passoa Liqueur, vanilla vodka, passionfruit, lemon juice, sugar syrup and aquafaba. One of my favourite cocktails I've had lately! I'd give this drink a 9/10.
Luke ordered an espresso martini (also $20) and it had really good espresso in it. I'm not a coffee drinker but I'd say an 8/10 for this one (from both of us).
It did take a while for our drinks to come out but they only had one bartender/mixologist on and it was a Friday night so I don't wanna bag on them for that when it's out of their control, one person can only do so much - just as long as we're not forgotten about and they don't come AFTER the meal LOL.
Starters
I was super excited for the starters! We had Arancini Siciliani $17 and Crochette Di Patate $16. Both delish! 9/10 for both dishes from us - I just wish there was more of them. I was kinda sad we weren't offered 4 Arancini because a lot of Italian places do that for you so that you can share evenly, but this one didn't. The potato croquettes were my favourite!
Main Meals
Oooh onto the main meals now! For my main meal, I wanted something easy to eat because this is when my toothache started to get kinda bad so I went with a pasta (can't go wrong with pasta at an Italian restaurant). I went with the Rigatoni Alla Norma $26 (I think) and I remember being worried about the eggplant because I'm not a big fan of it but it was really nice and not too filling. I would give this one a 7/10.
For Luke's main, he got a fancy calzone! The only one one the menu - Salami E Ricotta $27 and he gave it a solid 8/10 which was impressive. I don't remember if I tried it but it looked very yummy!
Dessert
Yay, my favourite part about going out to eat - dessert, yes I have such a sweet tooth. I love dessert SOOOOO much! I had the panna cotta - because I love a good panna cotta. It was $16 and the only thing I could fault it on was that there wasn't enough of it - so 9.5/10 for me! Loved the berry coulis that came with it.
Luke's dessert was a bit different - the Crema Di Caffe $9 (so nice and cheap) but I think we were expecting it to be more on the lines of a Dalgona coffee - it was nice, but I think it was missing that special something extra (7/10).
Overall, great food, great service, but an extra-cosy atmosphere - I would say that this place is gonna be a lot better in summer when you can sit and eat outside with more room.
Thanks for reading!

Calzone and dessert look good!
Everything looks incredible! I love espresso martinis and would have to try one for sure!
