Hi friends! Happy Friday! How are you going today?
Today, I felt worse this morning but Luke seems to be picking up so hopefully we're slowly on the mend because I would really like to go outside haha. Anyway, Melbourne weather is humid today but I feel quite cold (most likely due to a fever) and I think it's meant to rain. I've been sleeping most of today though. It's kinda like my normal fatigue but a little worse because usually I still wake up and can get up but not this week, lots of sleep-ins for me and not wanting to do much. The cabin fever has definitely started to sink in though, but I'm trying to distract myself with other stuff like the insane amount of content that is on YouTube. I think it's important to immerse yourself in something that you're interested in doing. Today, I've been watching a Mile Higher Episode called "Found Dead in a Hotel Tub Before Exposing The Octopus Conspiracy: What Happened to Danny Casolaro". Which, is really interesting. I always enjoy the content that these guys put out. Honestly, haven't done much else other than trying to rest and get rid of this stupid bug. I also plan on uploading another story time to the YouTube land tomorrow and am hoping that I slowly start to feel better to film some more content.
Anyway, for today's blog post, I thought we'd take another trip over to the little old reliable site of Reddit and take a look at the subreddit r/ghosts and see what we could find there. Today, I've sorted by top and this year. Let's have a nosey and discuss!

From user unicorn-onesie with a message: "So for context, I live in a gated condo in a very quiet part of town. Barely any movement past 9pm. This time of the year, there's maybe 6 apartments occupied, as all the rest are used for summer holidays. My apartment is on the ground floor and my only direct neighbours are not there. Hardly anyone walks on the back during the night. I'm currently away from home for work, and when the cleaner went there yesterday, l asked her to set up the camera just for security. Video was about 2/3h after she left, just after sunset. Like something that went to examine the new item on the dresser. Since then, there's been countless videos of smoke and strange sounds like bangs and others that sound like voices. Mostly late at night, when the condo is supposed to be dead silent. Btw all the doors and windows are locked, nothing was left open. I wanted to attach the whole thing but I'm still learning how to use reddit. I really need your input as im terrified of going back home now.... How can I post the whole thing?"
I'm not sure if the video is going to play on the blog but if you go directly to the Reddit post, you'll see that it kinda looks like smoke or vapor. It's very odd. A lot of the comments are trying to debunk it saying it could be the dishwasher or the user is just doing it for karma because it's a relatively new account. But idk, I feel like I believe OP for some reason. Especially because they've been on holiday and it isn't something that you'd see with your naked eye. What do you think???

From user HowerTwo
Pretty sure it's just a cardboard cutout from Star Wars but if not, it's very freaky. What's even weirder about this pic is that all the bloody lights are on? Maybe they do think their house is haunted and are putting Liam Neeson up there to scare the "other" ghosts away? Idk about this one hahaha.

I've seen this circulating around the web a bit this year and it's actually quite freaky. But maybe it's just the lighting or someone was in Chris D's house that he wasn't aware of - like his housemate? Or, idk maybe it is a ghost. He does seem genuinely terrified. What do you think?

There's a few more pics and a whole magazine article in this post because damn, that's one freaky picture. I have no idea if this one has been debunked but there's a lot of theories that it's a woman ghost holding a baby ghost or a woman holding a chainsaw. I mean, both are just as freaky.

I wonder if it's just paradoila or real? I dunno man, but starting to get scared looking at this subreddit and it's one I look at a lot. Especially when I was distracting myself when I didn't feel good at my last job lol.

From user QuesoAmore with the message: "Yesterday afternoon while driving home, I noticed something in the window of an old abandoned building in my town. Honestly I thought it was a Halloween decoration and decided to take a picture since it looked creepy. Right after taking this photo I began driving again and as I looked back up at the window, it was gone. I've driven back to the building three separate times since and nothing has been in that window. The windows are very tall, too tall for a person to be able to see out of the very top. First pic is what I saw, the second is what the window looked like when I went back to the building. So... did I see a ghost?"
The comments on this post weren't very helpful but it could just be someone up working in the building? I don't know where exactly it is, but could be a squatter if it's somewhere not safe to go in. Or, someone could be completely messing with people and got excited when they saw the Reddit post. Or, it's a ghost and we're all too much of skeptics hahaha. Yeah idk, I don't think this one is convincing because there's lots of explanations.

Apparently, this was taken on a wildlife camera and the person wasn't claiming that it was a ghost, they just couldn't find anything there. I wonder what the settings were on the camera because that might explain it. Double exposure maybe? It does sound like the palce it was taken is a pretty spooky place. What do you think?

From user Upballoon
Yeah, no thank you. Although, I do wonder if maybe a homeless person climbed that tree and the photography was botched up? It is very blurry so that could be a reason. Maybe I am more of a skeptic than I thought haha.
I think that's enough of the scary side of Reddit for today. But for today's question, I want to know, where's a place you've been to that gave you an eerie feeling? Let me know in the comments below. For me, I always found it super eerie going to the red zone after the quakes back in CHCH. Also, a certain cemetery in Tanunda, South Australia really gave me bad vibes which I've spoken about before. Maybe I can do a video on my paranormal experiences. Heh.
Anyway, that's all for today! See you tomorrow!! Much love,
Ash xx
