Kia Ora friends! Happy Wednesday! The days are kinda starting to blur altogether but this wellbeing break of not working is really helping my mental health and allowing some extra space in my mind to relax - and I haven't felt like that in a LONG LONG time! Physical health isn't so good though but we're getting there, slowly but surely. And being able to go to the bathroom freely is much more comfortable while living with IBS flare ups.
Melbourne weather today is gorgeous and I've already gotten in one walk today so hopefully I can either get in another one this afternoon OR try a workout, that would be good to get into because I absolutely miss that. Although I am starting to feel quite drained as the day goes on.
I woke up feeling like I hadn't slept this morning so didn't get up till like 8:30am (yeah, lazy, I know) and Luke's in the office today, so it was extra peaceful haha, except when he was making weird-ass noises while getting ready - soz to call you out hun. Anyway, I managed to get up and make myself some poached eggs on toast for brekkie with a coffee so that was good. I also thought today I could try a vlog-style video of a 'Day in the Life with Someone with IBS' and just what my average Wednesday looks like. I have no idea whether I'll post it but it's good practice to try and get more confident talking in front of a camera, and new chapters are ahead for sure. I don't know what's next for me career-wise, but I definitely want to explore this creative side of me. I've also been working on some more guided meditations and Canva designs . Oh, and I posted a cookie recipe on here too + a quick YT video (I made it a while ago so the quality isn't great) but it is a great recipe nonetheless. If you want to check it out, you can so do "here".
For date night tonight, Luke and I are going to put up our Christmas Tree and decor and I'm SOOOO excited. I haven't done anything like that in a long time, so I definitely want to vlog that. And we're going to have dumplings for dinner so that'll be something healthy and easy on the tummy for sure. I love how in summer you crave lighter meals, it's so good. I also ordered some Christmas PJs but they're really behind in stock so they are taking forever to arrive and I really wanted to do a cliche photoshoot with Luke and take some Christmas photos (like people do for cards hahaha). But we're being patient for them to come and hopefully, they come before Christmas. We do have some cute Christmas t-shirts we can wear though. Oh, and Luke also wanted some signs to put outside but they haven't come yet either. But we do have a lot of Christmas decorations already so that will be good to set them up tonight. I might be cheeky and start before him hehe (I think Luke might get annoyed if I do that though).
Last night I also had a weird dream where I was on top of a building exchanging something (no idea what) with one of my old work mates and then he like flew off the building like he was Peter Parker or some shit and then I had to climb down a ladder to get off BUT that's when I woke up so idk if I was gonna die in the dream or what. BUT as I normally do, I googled the meaning and the meaning of a tall building in a dream, and overall, it was a positive dream meaning you are close to success - so I hope so. Let's stay positive for that. Also, please watch my content and keep reading my blogs because it really helps me out!
Speaking of dreams, my mum sent over a few books and my dream journal (thanks mum) and I've got to go through that a bit later - maybe I'll make a whole blog post dedicated to that. Dreams are really weird but maybe they'll inspire me somehow? I always thought I could write a horror based on some of the nightmares I've had before. That makes me think of sleep paralysis which luckily I think I've only had once in my life but it's very freaky! I hope that you guys haven't experienced it but if you have, let me know in the comments below.
Seeing as we kinda got onto the topic of nightmarish things I thought I'd share some Paranormal TikToks with ya'll today! It's kinda annoying how you can embed a YouTube video but you can't embed a TikTok video into these blog posts. But anyway, we make do with what we can and I'm still learning how this site works a bit! Queue the anxious need to pee all of a sudden and jumping at every noise in my house while I'm home alone HAHA.
Scary Paranormal TikToks That Keep Me Up at Night!
"When the ghost is looking for a snack but all you have are condiments" - from the_hamilyfamily. Tbh, this one could easily be a string in the background or the breeze but I do like the guy's reaction.
"3 videos showing alleged SW" - from yangsides. TBH, read the comments but the last one is scary.
"Story Time" - from user dazeemaee. If you can find the part 2, let me know but I think that it was just gonna be that they drew the same creature. I think that's really interesting though, maybe they're connected on some sort of ESP type level and especially because their cousins? I kinda think cousins might have that similar thing to what twins have, especially if they're close with each other.
"Something f**king creepy happened when I got home" - from hauntedtiktoker. This one is freaky, especially because if it's not something paranormal, it could be a squatter - so I definitely agree with a lot of what the comments say on this one.
"I accidentally fell asleep watching YT" - from cjaids reacting to it but OG user oliviakapinos. She seems genuinly scared so I don't think this is fake, unless she lives with someone else and they pulled a really awful prank? Who knows, but it's very weird.
Okay I think that's the amount of scary stuff I can handle for this afternoon. Some of them just crept me the ef out and I had to stop. But I think I'll do more of these types of blog posts in the future! I'll end the pos there.
For today's question, I want to know if you won 1 million dollars/won the lottery, what would you do the money? Let me know in the comments below. For me, I'd pay off my student loan and then put the rest in a savings account, live off the interest, and probably buy Luke whatever he wanted and help my family if they needed it. I'm sure I'd make a really irresponsbile purchase too but I'm trying to think what. Maybe a whole corgi house hahaha I love corgis, they are soooo cute!
That's all for today!
Much love,
Ash xx
I'd probably upgrade one or two "expensive" things, put some towards a home deposit and give the rest away if there was anything left.
