Good evening blog friendos! It's a really late one from me tonight (and I'm writing this on my phone too). Today has been hectic.
It was an office day for me today as we launched 2024 enrolments so there was A LOT more calls than we normally had. Our manager was really kind and got us pizza - although I would regret eating this later on.
After work, I went down to the chemist to pick up a few scripts I'd run out of, but the poor pharmacist was there on his own and it wad super busy, he kept getting more and more customers and having to stop what he was doing so many times - kudos to him. Anyway, I waited about 40 minutes just to get my scripts. Then, as I was walking back to the train station, I started to feel quite light headed and a bit hungry so I grabbed some chocolate bars from Coles on my way home. When I finally got back to the city to get the train home, the train was delayed so it was SOOOOO packed. I was lucky enough to get a seat. But about halfway through my train ride home, the dizziness comes back and a migraine hits. I was not feeling okay. I looked to see if I could either find some mints to suck on or some headphones in my bag to put relaxing music on but I just couldn't rummage through and find anything with how packed the train was.
Anyway, I finally made it back to the station where Luke thankfully picked me up and we drove home. On the way home, the awful stomach cramps started. I got straight into my pyjamas and tried to wait it out. But safe to say, tonight has been the most awful IBS attack ever. My stomach is slowly settling but I have a feeling that it's not going to be a good sleep tonight. We are now watching 'Have You Been Paying Attention' which is quite distracting because it's funny but I'm still not feeling very good. Although, I am glad I managed to get through work today. I am really hoping that tomorrow my tummy starts to feel so much better but I've got to take my iron and b12 supplements tonight so I'm hoping that doesn't upset me too much more.
I also managed to get a bit of dinner down and also some fresh pineapple for dessert, so that's a good thing. In good news though, I saw the most chonkiest corgi out this evening, he was the loafiest loaf I have ever seen buy he looked so happy and I just wanted to pet him.
That's probably all I have energy to write today and hopefully I'll feel much better being able to use a computer tomorrow for more fun blog posts!
For today's question, I want to know what your favourite panel show is? Like comedy panel show. Let me know in the comments below.
My favourite panel shows are: 8 out of 10 cats, Cheap Seats, HYBPA, and also 7 Days. A bonus one that has been cancelled 'Duck Quacks Don't Echo'
Have a lovely Monday evening!
Much love,
Ash xx
P.S. if there's any typos, I'll fix them tomorrow when I'm feeling better
In addition to the amazing shows listed above, Spicks and Specks was an absolute classic back in the day! Also Rockwiz!! Seeing a gig in the Gershwin room at the Espy made the hair stand up on the back of my neck in the best possible way 🥰
8 out of 10 cats does countdown would be mine. Hope you are feeling better this morning.
