Hi friends! Do you love Rocky Road as much as I do? Well here's an update recipe I tried the other day. If you want to try out my previous recipe, see "here".
Ingredients/What you will need
Water bath (heatproof bowl + saucepan with heated water over the stove)
Baking tray lined with baking paper and tin foil
Wooden spoon + spatula.
750 grams milk chocolate (I used 3 x 250g packets of chocolate chips)
1 bag of mini marshmallows
250 grams glace cherries
A handful of sliced almonds
1 packet of malteasers (140grams)
Method
Step 1: Set up your water bath on your stove so that it's ready to put the chocolate in.
Step 2: Line a square/rectangle baking tray with tin foil and baking paper. Set aside on bench.
Step 3: In a second heatproof bowl, pour all the ingredients in except the chocolate.
Step 4: Put chocolate chips into your heatproof bowl over the water bath and stir constantly until melted (I used a wooden spoon for this with a heatproof glass bowl).
Step 5: Once your chocolate is melted, pour over the ingredients and mix together. Transfer to a baking tray and let set overnight in the fridge.
Step 6: When you are ready to cut your Rocky Road, leave it out at room temperature for about 20 minutes before you cut it into squares. Enjoy!
Let me know what you think!
Much love,
Ash xoxo
