Hi friends! I hope you're having a wonderful day! In this blog post, we're gonna go over 10 things that changed my life (and for good). You can check out the YT video at the end for a more in-depth explanation. I hope you enjoy.
Meditation - I started this at the beginning of 2021 and it really helped my mental health, less panic attacks, better sleep, and overall feeling good all the time. I also found that if I was in a bad mood, things like astral projection weren't good so I would only do it when I was feeling okay
Cold showers - yep, I know, sounds awful (and definitely can be) but I often just have a cold burst at the end of my warm shower and it really helps with your immune system and can give you a bit of a caffeine boost
Moving countries - probably the scariest thing I have ever done, but if I didn't move, I don't think I'd be pursuing what I wanted to do in life (e.g., a blog and my YouTube channel - I'm really proud of these)
Being in a healthy relationship - it's so good never having to walk on eggshells or worry about saying how I feel and knowing when to give each other space (I've never had that before)
My IBS diagnosis - it was so scary at first but now it's a lot more manageable and yep, I did have a really big flare up at the end of last year that made me leave my corporate job but now I'm really focusing on managing symptoms more
Doing a masters thesis - I originally wanted to go all the way to a PhD and maybe I will one day, but I'm happy doing what I'm doing now. But the masters thesis did lead me down a bit of a New Age spiritual path (and no I don't think I'm a crazy hippie or anything but I probably wouldn't have been open to so much if I hadn't done this)
Buying the gear - i.e., buying all the new camera gear, the tech gear like a ring light and phone tripods - this stuff really gave me the motivation to get out and take photos and be patient with myself, as well as giving me the confidence to actually make content
Embracing who I am - the rustic and imperfect parts too - I often find that people are "perfectionists" and I can be at times, but I also love when I bake something and it's a little rustic or if my hair's a little messy. I'm also proud of who I am and being transparent and open with mental health and physical health
Finding joy in little things and becoming more grateful - this really made me feel like the world is a special place and in turn, I feel a lot happier
Getting a puppy - my whole world now revolves around this little doggo and he is the sweetest little thing. I would do anything for him!
Thanks so much for reading and watching! I hope you enjoyed this blog/vlog and I'll see you soon. Freaky Friday Files should be back next week too!
Much love,
Ash xx
P.S.: I will also start to do more life updates on the blog again (like how I did daily posts last year, it really helped my mental health PLUS my psychologist has encouraged me to continue writing here). I also want to do things like "what I've learned since getting a puppy" and things like that. Let me know in the comments what you'd want to see also!

Hi. You have a very cool video turned out, you are quite an interesting person) I want to continue watching and reading you. The only thing I want to give you a little advice, there is a little lack of editing, various inserts, which makes your video dynamic and attractive to the eye, I advise you to try this software https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/free-video-editing-software-for-mac.html
